A quick breath of air

You know, there is a type of whale -- don't ask me which because I can never remember -- that forages for food at the very bottom of the ocean where the pressure in the water is 40 times greater than on the surface. It will duck out of the water for a fraction of a second and take in only as much air as a human takes in for a single breath, then it dives back down to hunt at mind-boggling depths. That breath of air is all its lungs (once compressed) will allow for the next 1-2 hours.

Right now, I feel like that whale. I'm back and just ducking out from under an enormous pile of papers for a cheerful, weary wave.

Normally work will take me to uninteresting, bland conference rooms with stale coffee and no windows. But last week, happily, work led me to a succession of days that began with this view:

Can you guess where?

More on that and knitting/fiber updates when I next surface -- although judging from the weight of these piles of small print here, that may be some time. :/
